LAUREN HOLTEN

In 2025, she began competing in grooming competitions with immediate success, achieving 1st place in Open Handstripping with her Miniature Schnauzer, Nigel, and 2nd place in Champion Handstripping at Madra Mania, Ireland’s largest grooming competition. That same year, she was nominated for Up and Coming Groomer of the Year at the Celtic Coat Awards — a significant milestone early in her career. Lauren specialises in terriers and handstripping, with experience preparing dogs for the show ring. She regularly works with Kerry Blue Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Miniature Schnauzers, and Cocker Spaniels, and has also been invited to groom Kerry Blue Terriers at Crufts. As Head Groomer at Zoomies, Lauren brings exceptional technical expertise, competitive experience, and a calm, professional approach to every groom — ensuring each dog receives the highest standard of care in a positive, reassuring environment.
